Easy peasy! Just press the ESC key or the X button during your turn to back out of a fight option.
Just mash ESC or X. If it doesn鈥檛 work, your keyboard or controller might be haunted. ;)
Pressing ESC or X will let you go back. I learned this the hard way dodging Sans' attacks!
