A hot take: Why go Genocide at all? Try the Pacifist route for a more heartwarming story.
From experience, it's all about persistence. You have to literally grind in each zone to wipe out all monsters. Remember to stay strong for those tough boss fights!
To go Genocide, you gotta systematically kill every monster in each area until you get the 'But nobody came...' message. Stay determined!
Make sure to save often! The Genocide route has some tricky bosses that might take a few tries. Good luck!
