To switch to first person in GTA 5, just hit the touchpad button on your PS4 or PS5 controller. If you're on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, tap the Select button. PC players, you'll press the 'V' key on your keyboard a couple of times until it switches the view. It's super easy once you get the hang of it!

Honestly, first person in GTA 5 is overrated. The game wasn't originally designed for that. Trust me, third person is where the real fun's at.
