GTA 5 on PS3 doesn't support a first-person mode. You'll have to play from a third-person perspective.

No first-person mode on the PS3 version of GTA 5. You’ll need to upgrade to a PS4 or PC for that feature.

Sorry to break it to ya, but the first-person mode is only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of GTA 5.

Been playing GTA 5 on PS3 for years, and it’s only third-person. First-person mode came with the PS4 upgrade.
