Just join a safe zone and find a 'Dark Learner' NPC to take on quests that reward good karma. Easy peasy!
Forget the quests. Playing as a hero and defeating dark ninjas gives you good karma, too. Go be a hero!
I got my good karma by completing Light Training quests and protecting other players. It worked like a charm!
