Honestly, you just need to secure and engage your ship's grav drive, then pick a distant location using the starmap to escape the heat.

In Starfield, grab jumping out of combat is like hitting the "hyperdrive" button when things get hairy. To perform a grab jump, you'll need to navigate to your ship's pilot controls, where you'll have the option to execute a jump to another location. Use the starmap to plot a course to a safe spot, and voil脿, you're outta there!

From personal experience, when space pirates were on my tail, I just jumped to a nearby asteroid field using the starmap. It saved my bacon!
