Grading your Pokemon cards is all about analyzing their condition to determine their value. Start with a close inspection under good lighting. Look for any scratches on the surface, bent corners, or edges, and check the centering of the image on the card. A perfectly centered card with no visible damage will score higher. There are professional grading services like PSA, Beckett, and CGC that can do this for ya. They'll give it a grade from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. It's not cheap, but it can massively increase the value of your card if it scores high.

Just send them to PSA, easiest way. They'll grade them for you and encapsulate them in a nice protective case. Yes, it costs money, but it's worth it if you're serious about your collection.

Honestly, unless you're holding onto a real rare gem, I wouldn't bother with the hassle of professional grading. Just keep your cards in good condition, and enjoy the game!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
