I start with the y-intercept, put a point there, and then use the slope to guide me to the next point. Draw a line through them, and you've graphed it!

To graph a slope-intercept equation, start by plotting the y-intercept (b) on the y-axis. Then, use the slope (m) to find another point: rise over run, baby! Connect the dots with a straight line, and voil脿, you've got your graph!
