Growing cactus in Terraria is super easy and kinda fun because you don't need to do much. Just find yourself a desert biome and make sure there's some sand because cacti love sand. They'll grow all on their own without any water or special items. Just give it some time, and you'll have a desert full of cacti. If you want MORE cacti, just spread more sand around in the desert biome.

Pro tip from a seasoned Terraria gardener: You can't just plant cacti anywhere. It's got to be on sand, and it's gotta be in the desert biome. Once you've got that set up, leave it alone. Nature does its thing, and you'll see those spiky beauties popping up. Also, bigger desert, more cacti, so don鈥檛 be shy spreading that sand!
