Use the 'Guess Pitch' feature! Hold down R2 on PlayStation or RT on Xbox and press the button corresponding to the pitch type. If you're right, you'll get an indicator.

Watch for the pitcher’s hand movements and release point. This can give you a clue about the kind of pitch that's coming your way.

Honestly, guessing pitch is overrated. Just react fast and practice your timing. Trust your reflexes!

Get familiar with the pitcher’s repertoire in the scouting report. You’ll know what pitches they throw and can make an educated guess!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
