To guess a pitch in MLB The Show 21, you can use the Guess Pitch feature by pressing R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) and then selecting the pitch type and location. If you guess right, your PCI will be more forgiving, and you'll get a boost on that swing!

You can also guess pitches by noticing patterns! If the pitcher throws a fastball every time you're ahead in the count, anticipate it next time. It's all about reading the pitcher!

Forget guessing, just focus on reacting to the pitch! With practice, you鈥檒l improve your timing and hit those nasty sliders!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
