For guessing pitches, hit that R2 button, pick your pitch type and location. Be the baseball psychic you were always meant to be!

To guess pitches in MLB The Show 21, use the 'Guess Pitch' feature by pressing R2 (PS4/PS5) or RT (Xbox) before the pitcher throws. Select the pitch type and location you think will come next!

I've had some luck guessing pitches by watching for tells in the pitcher's wind-up. Certain animations can give away what they're about to throw. Try it!

Forget guessing. Just learn to read the pitcher's tendencies and react quickly. It's more satisfying!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
