To hard reset your Steam Deck, just hold down the power button for about 10 seconds. This forces a shutdown. Once it's off, press the power button again to turn it back on. This is like the classic 'turn it off and on again' method, but for your Steam Deck. If it's being particularly stubborn, you might need to do this a couple of times.

Just press and hold the power button for a good 10 secs. It'll shut off and then you can reboot. Works like a charm when my Deck decides to throw a tantrum.

Y'all, make sure you try restarting it normally first before going for the hard reset. Sometimes, that's all it takes to solve whatever glitch you're facing.

Hard reset? More like the last resort button. Seriously though, it's simple: press and hold power for 10 seconds. But remember, it's not the go-to for every problem.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
