Unplug the power cable from your Xbox. Wait 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. Simple and effective.

Just press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. Once it turns off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. Done and done.

For a hard reset, turn off the Xbox by holding the power button for about 10 seconds. Then, unplug and replug the power cable. Easy peasy.

Hold down the power button on the front of your Xbox for 10 seconds until it shuts off, then unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in, and start it up again. Voila, hard reset complete!
