Honestly, a good ol' pile of painkillers works wonders. Pop a few, and you're back in the fight鈥攁t least temporarily.
Switching characters can help, too. Let an injured character rest while you take control of another. They'll heal faster that way.
Medical Labs and infirmaries are your best friends. Build or upgrade them, then let your injured folks take a load off and heal up. First-hand experience here: it saved my crew many times!
