To help Travis in Fallout 4, you gotta complete the 'Confidence Man' quest. Just head over to Diamond City and chat with Vadim Bobrov at the Dugout Inn. He's got a plan to boost Travis' confidence. You'll end up dealing with bar fights and a staged kidnapping, but it's all in good fun and for a good cause. Plus, Travis becomes way more bearable to listen to on the radio after.
