To hide that game you don't want anyone to know you play, just go into your Steam library, right-click on the game you want to keep low-key, select 'Manage', and then 'Hide this game'. Now it's our little secret!
Just delete it, problem solved. No game, no need to hide.
I hid a game once, thinking no one would find out. Turns out, just right-click and use the 'Manage' then 'Hide this game' option. Super simple and totally reversible if you change your mind!
