Easy peasy! Just click the cogwheel (settings icon) at the bottom of the chat window and select 'Hide Chat'.
If you're on mobile, swipe the chat window to the right and poof! It's gone.
You can also hit the 'Full Screen' mode, and chat will disappear. Goodbye distractions!
