How to Hide Facebook Friend List
To hide your Facebook friend list: go to your profile, click on 'Friends', hit the 'Manage' button (a pencil icon), select 'Edit Privacy', then change 'Friend List' from 'Public' to 'Only Me'. Easy peasy!

I did it last week! Simply: profile > Friends > Manage (pencil icon) > Edit Privacy, and then set your friend list to 'Only Me'. It works like a charm.
