Straight up, Steam doesn't let you hide those hours you've racked up. But, if you're looking to keep your game time on the down-low, set your profile to 'Private.' This way, nobody can see your game details, including those countless hours you've spent. Just head over to your profile, click 'Edit Profile,' go to 'My Privacy Settings,' and bam, switch that game details setting to 'Private'. Your secret's safe.

Actually, I like showcasing my hours; it's like a badge of honor. The more, the better, I say! Why hide it?

You can't hide just the hours, unfortunately. Valve hasn't made that a feature. Your best bet? Make the whole profile private. Keeps the mystery alive.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
