Just switch your profile to private mode – only your followers will see your followers list, and you get to control who follows you.
Unfortunately, Instagram doesn't let you hide your followers from others. Your best bet is to make your account private so only approved followers can see your followers list!
Been using Instagram for years, and trust me, just go private if you want to keep your follower list a secret.
