I did this last week. Go to your privacy settings, and you can customize who sees what. Go to 'Settings' -> 'Privacy' -> 'Who can see your future posts?'
If you want to prevent a friend from seeing your future posts, head to their profile, click on 'Friends' -> 'Take a Break' -> 'See Less of [Name]'.
