Honestly, hiding names isn't supported in the game. Just embrace your Smash identity!

In the game settings, look for the option to toggle player names off. It's buried a bit, but it's there!

Go to the Options menu, select My Music, and disable the Name Tags option. You'll be incognito in no time!
