Work on your plate discipline. Lay off those pitches outside the zone and wait for your pitch. Patience, grasshopper!

Check out your player's stats and attributes. Some guys are just better suited for certain pitches, so play to their strengths.

Try using the PCI (Plate Coverage Indicator) to line up with the pitch location. It helps in focusing on where to make contact.

Timing is everything! Practice in the batting cages and get the hang of different pitch speeds. Also, don't be afraid to use Zone Hitting for more control.

Honestly, sometimes the best strategy is just to smack the controller a bit and hope for the best. Worked for me once!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
