Use directional hitting to guide the ball towards where you want it to go. Try using contact swings first, then move to power swings as you get better.

Stay patient at the plate. Don't swing at every pitch. Learn to distinguish between balls and strikes; it will boost your on-base percentage and help in the long run.

Just mash the buttons and hope for the best. Kidding! But seriously, practice a lot in batting practice mode to improve your timing and pitch recognition.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
