Holding priority in MTG Arena's a bit different than paper Magic, but it's super easy once you get the hang of it. Just press down the Control key (Ctrl) on your keyboard when you perform an action where you'd wanna hold priority. This lets you keep control and perform more actions before the game moves on. Just remember, if you wanna keep holding after that first action, you gotta smack that Ctrl key again!

For anyone looking to keep priority throughout an entire turn without smashing the Ctrl key before each action, just hit Shift + Ctrl at the start of your turn. This locks in priority for you until you decide you're done. Super useful for complex plays or when you're feeling particularly strategic!

Just tap Ctrl, easy. No need to overcomplicate it.

Honestly, most of the time, you don't need to hold priority. The game's smart enough to know when you might wanna do more stuff. But yeah, Ctrl key for those edge cases.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
