You can also use community tools like TF2Center. They have guides and resources to make the process really simple.
Just pay for a dedicated server. It's way less hassle, and you won't overload your home internet.
Easiest way is to use the SteamCMD tool. Download it, install the TF2 dedicated server, then configure your server.cfg file鈥攙oil脿!
