Hosting a Terraria server is all about sharing the adventure with friends, and it's not too complex! First up, you gotta decide between using Terraria's own server software or going for a dedicated server host if you're not keen on the technical stuff. If you're doing it yourself, just download the Terraria server software from the Terraria website, run it, and follow the setup instructions. Make sure you forward your ports if you're behind a router, typically port 7777. Then, share your IP with your pals and jump in!

Just use Steam, honestly. If you and your friends have Terraria on Steam, you can host a game through Steam itself. Super easy, no need to mess with downloading server software or port forwarding. Right-click your friend's name in your Steam friend list, invite them to play, and you're set!

Why bother hosting when you can join others? Sometimes it's more fun to explore worlds others have built. Plus, no setup headaches!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
