Spotting a Legendary Pokemon card is like finding a rare gem! Look for unique holographic patterns that shimmer differently than regular cards. Legendary cards often feature distinct artwork with iconic Pokemon like Mewtwo or Lugia. Don’t forget to check the bottom right corner for the card’s rarity symbol; a star means it’s rare, but a star with an 'H' or three stars means you’ve got something extra special. Some legendary cards also have unique identifiers, like specific set symbols or names highlighted in a different color.

Honestly, just Google the card name + 'Pokemon TCG.' Most legendary cards are well-known and you'll find loads of info online about them. Plus, fan sites often have detailed guides on how to spot the real legends out there.

Just flip the card and peek at the bottom. If there's a star symbol, you've got a rare card. Legendary ones usually have this, but also check for unique artwork or holographic details that set them apart from the regular crowd.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
