Ultra rare Pokemon cards usually have distinct features that set them apart. Look for unique holographic designs, special textures on the card, like raised prints or unusual finishes, and symbols. The card's bottom right corner will have a star symbol, often in silver or gold, which indicates rarity. Also, check for rarity symbols like “EX,” “GX,” “V,” or “VMAX” - these versions are typically rarer and more valuable. Remember, edition and condition play huge roles in value too!

Short and sweet - if it shines more than your future, has a weird texture, and makes your wallet cry, congrats, it's probably ultra rare.

Honestly, it's all about the bling and the letters. Look for shiny, fancy textures, and the GX, V, or VMAX symbols. Got one of those with a star? That's your ultra rare buddy there.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
