Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Trust me, it can really crank up those frames!

Try playing with V-Sync turned off. It can add some frames if you're struggling.

Switch to Fullscreen Mode instead of Windowed Mode. It gives you a bit of an FPS boost for sure.
