First, make sure both your PS5 and the device you're using for Remote Play are connected to a strong and stable Wi-Fi network. A wired Ethernet connection is even better if possible!

Adjust the video quality settings in the Remote Play app. Lowering the resolution can result in smoother gameplay if you're experiencing lag.

Make sure your PS5 system software and the Remote Play app are updated to the latest versions. Sometimes, updates include performance improvements.

Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network instead of 2.4GHz. It's less congested and offers better performance.

Honestly, if you've tried everything and it's still not great, maybe it's time to upgrade your router. No joke, a good router can make a huge difference.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
