If you wanna up your disk usage in Steam, start by clearing out the old game files and cache. Steam has this built-in tool in the Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache. It's like giving your Steam a mini detox. Also, check if Steam's download restrictions are messing with your speed. Head over to Steam > Settings > Downloads and make sure there's no limit set on bandwidth. And if you're feeling adventurous, changing the download region might just do the trick since some servers are less congested than others.

Honestly, just get a faster internet connection. Steam can only go as fast as your internet lets it.

For real, I changed my download server to one closer to me and saw my disk usage shoot up. It's like choosing the shortest line at the grocery store. Head to Settings > Downloads in Steam, and pick a server that's closer to your location. Made a world of difference for me.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
