You can add gear slots by spending Super Sea Snails. Earn them in Splatfests or by leveling up to get extra slots for gear.
Murch is your go-to guy for this. He hangs out in Inkopolis Square, ready to upgrade your gear slots for a few sea snails.
Another way is by hitting level 30, then each level afterward earns you a Super Sea Snail, which Murch can use to increase your slots!
Just stop splatting noobs and focus on leveling up and participating in Splatfests to get those Super Sea Snails. Easy peasy!
