To increase your inventory in the DZ (Dark Zone), you need to upgrade your SHD tech and unlock specific perks at the Quartermaster in the Base of Operations. Look for the 'Inventory' perks section and a good option is the 'Inventory 2' perk. This should give you extra inventory space!

You can increase your DZ inventory by upgrading your Watch level after reaching level 40, or by using the Field Proficiency Caches!
