How to increase spawn rates in Terraria
Battle Potions and Water Candles are your best friends for upping those spawn rates. However, don't forget that certain times and events (like Blood Moons) naturally increase spawns too. Use these times to your advantage!

Wanna see more mobs around? Easy! First off, use Water Candles and place them around - they boost spawn rates. Also, chugging Battle Potions will make more enemies show up. If you're setting up a farm, make sure you've got a big enough flat surface for the mobs to spawn on. Lastly, the more players in your world, the more mobs you'll see, so invite your pals!
Honestly, just slap down a Water Candle and drink a Battle Potion. Too many players complicate things.
