Honestly, just turn on your PS4 and log in. Fortnite will do the rest and download the patch for ya!
From my experience, you just have to go to your PS4 home screen, find Fortnite, press the 'Options' button, and select 'Check for Update'. The system will handle it from there!
Make sure your PS4 is set to automatically update games. Go to Settings > System > Automatic Downloads, and make sure 'Application Update Files' is checked. This way, Fortnite updates itself while you're off saving the world!
