Installing Chrome on your Steam Deck is surprisingly straightforward! Just boot up into desktop mode, open up Discover – that's the software center for KDE, which the Steam Deck's OS is based on. Then, search for Google Chrome, click install, and voila! You've now got Chrome ready to roll on your handheld PC. If for some reason Chrome isn't showing up in Discover, you might need to enable Flatpak support through the settings in Discover or install it via terminal using Flatpak commands.

If u wanna get Chrome on your Steam Deck, just remember it's like treating it as a mini PC. Fire it up in desktop mode, hit up the Discover app to find and install Chrome. Easy peasy.

Honestly, just use Firefox. It's already there and works great on the Deck. Why bother?

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
