To install custom maps, go to War Thunder's user content page, find a map you like, and subscribe. It'll automatically download when you start the game!
Download your desired custom map from the War Thunder Live portal, then place the map files into your 'UserMissions' folder inside the game's directory. Restart the game and you're good to go.
