Installing games on an SD card on your Steam Deck is actually pretty straightforward! Just pop in your SD card, then head over to Steam's Settings > Downloads, and under STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS, you add a new library on your SD card. When you download a game, you can choose this new library on your SD card as the destination. Easy peasy!

Been there, done that! Don't forget to format your SD card as exFAT for the best compatibility with your Steam Deck. After setting up, installing games on it is a breeze. Just remember to select your SD card as the install location every time you download a new game. Works like a charm!

Honestly, just save yourself the headache and install games directly on the device. External SD cards are slower and might give you performance issues with some games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
