First, unplug your PS3 and remove the cover for the HDD on the side of the console. Then undo the blue screw and slide the old HDD case out. Swap the old HDD with your new one, secure the screws, and slide it back into place. Screw everything back in and replace the cover. Easy peasy!

Don't forget to back up your data to an external drive before doing anything! Then, swap out the hard drives as per instructions in the PS3 manual. Reformat the new drive when prompted, and you're good to go.

I just did this last week! Make sure you back up all your data first. Then, remove the HDD cover, unscrew and slide out the old drive, swap in the new one, and reassemble. Simple and quick!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
