First up, power on your Steam Deck and jump into Desktop Mode. Next, fire up the Discover Software Center (think of it as the Steam Deck's app store). You're gonna wanna search for 'Wine' or 'Proton' and install that – it's what lets you run Windows games on this Linux-based beast. Now, head over to the Steam store, find Honkai Star Rail, and hit that install button. Once it's done, switch back to Gaming Mode, find Honkai Star Rail in your library, and get ready to game on!

I don’t get the hype. Just play Honkai Star Rail on a regular PC. The Steam Deck's controls and screen can’t do justice to the game’s graphics and gameplay.

Honestly, just make sure you have Steam installed and that you're logged in. Search for Honkai Star Rail, click install, and you're good. No need to complicate things!

If you're a Honkai Star Rail player looking for extra shards or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Honkai Star Rail essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
