First, download your preferred Linux distribution for PS3 (Yellow Dog Linux used to be popular). Format your USB stick to FAT32, then create a folder named 'otheros' in the root directory. Place the 'otheros.bld' file inside it. Plug the USB into your PS3, go to System Settings > Install Other OS. Follow the on-screen prompts and voila! You'll have Linux running on your PS3!

To install Linux on your PS3 using a USB, you need the 'otheros.bld' file. Format the USB to FAT32, put the 'otheros.bld' in 'otheros' folder, and go to the PS3's Systems Settings to install the other OS.

Honestly, installing Linux on a PS3 is more hassle than it's worth nowadays. Just get a dedicated computer for Linux!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
