AssoilzieingThrow·7 months agoPfft, just use Steam Link. It's already integrated and you don't have to jump through hoops. Moonlight? More like moon-why-bother.

Quick tip, folks: Moonlight requires your gaming PC to have an Nvidia GPU since it's using Nvidia's GameStream. So, if you're Team Red with an AMD, you might need to look at another streaming solution.
First off, gotta make sure your Steam Deck is in Desktop Mode. Once there, open up Discover – that's the app store on KDE Plasma. In the search bar, just type 'Moonlight' and hit enter. It’ll pop up, and there’s a big ol' install button waiting for you to click it. After it installs, you can launch Moonlight and stream your games from your gaming PC. Remember to have a good WiFi connection, or it'll be like trying to race a snail.
I've been using Moonlight on my Deck for a month now, and it's like turning the thing into a portable powerhouse. Sure, it takes a bit to set it up, but once you do, it's smooth sailing. Plus, streaming Cyberpunk from my main rig to my bed without lugging around a laptop? Priceless.
