First, you gotta make sure your Steam Deck is in Desktop Mode. Then, download the Optifine file from their official site to your Steam Deck. Open it with Java (you might need to install Java first), and let the installer do its magic. Finally, add Minecraft as a non-Steam game to your Steam library, and when you launch it, select the Optifine profile. Boom, enhanced graphics!

Quick tip: You can't directly install Optifine on the Steam Deck since it's a Minecraft mod, not a standalone game. Install Minecraft first, then Optifine over it.
