First, turn off your PS5 and unplug it. Lay it down with the logo facing down and then remove the cover. You'll see the SSD slot. Open it, insert your compatible SSD, screw it in, close everything up, and you're good to go!

You really don鈥檛 need internal storage. Just get an external SSD.

Make sure you've got the right SSD that meets PS5's requirements. Once you do, turn off the console, remove the cover, and install the SSD into the designated slot. Simple as that!
