It's a bit of a process but totally doable! First, boot up your Steam Deck in Desktop Mode. Once there, open up Discover (the app store for Linux) and install ‘ProtonUp-Qt’. This app lets you get the latest versions of Proton, which you'll need. Then, head over to Lutris' website, download their installer, and get Lutris up and running. Search for the Rockstar Games Launcher in Lutris and install it through that. After Lutris finishes its magic, you should see the Rockstar Launcher on your Steam Deck. Just remember, this isn't officially supported by Valve or Rockstar, so some tinkering might be needed to get games running smoothly!

Honestly, don't bother. The Rockstar Launcher on the Steam Deck is more trouble than it's worth. Stick to games directly from Steam.

Just install it through Lutris. Desktop Mode -> Discover -> Lutris -> Find Rockstar Launcher. Done.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
