How to install Steam on Linux
BurstingHong路7 months agoInstalling Steam on Linux is pretty straightforward! Most popular Linux distros come with Steam in their software repositories. For Ubuntu, you can simply open up a terminal and type 'sudo apt-get install steam' and hit Enter. You'll be prompted to enter your password, then just follow the on-screen instructions. If you're using another distro like Fedora, you might use a different package manager like 'dnf' instead of 'apt-get'. Just replace 'apt-get' with 'dnf' in the command.

Just go to the Steam website, download the .deb (or .rpm, depending on your distro) file, and double-click it. Your package manager should take it from there!
Honestly, just use Windows.
I switched to Linux full-time last year and installing Steam was a breeze. I used the .deb file from Steam's official site because the version in my distro's repository wasn't the latest. Worked like a charm!
