How to Install Steam Skins
AffordingAggie·7 months agoInstalling Steam skins is pretty straightforward! First, download the skin file. You usually find these as zip files on various websites. Unzip it, and you'll get a folder. Now, navigate to your Steam installation directory (usually in 'C:\Program Files\Steam' on Windows) and find the 'skins' folder. Just drop your unzipped skin folder there. Restart Steam, go to Settings > Interface, and you should see your new skin in the dropdown menu. Select it, hit OK, and voilà, new look for Steam!

I've tried a bunch, but honestly, the default Steam skin is the best. Why fix what ain't broken?
Just drop the skin folder in the Steam skins directory and pick it from settings. Easy peasy.
