Trust me, as someone who still rocks the OG Melee: just slide the GameCube disc into your Wii and launch from the menu. Done and done!
If you've got the original GameCube disc, just insert it into your Wii and click on the GameCube logo in the main menu to start. If you don't have the disc, you can try downloading it from official sources and use a Homebrew channel, but remember to stay legal!
Insert the Melee disc. Turn on the Wii. Hit the GameCube logo. Now go smash!
